Hi everyone just thought i'd share this with you all, as you probably know from previous threads we've had discussions around when / how to give limestone flour and nutrabol, i personally was putting limestone stone flour on food 5 days and nutrabol for the other 2 days.

Following our discussion around this i decided to try offering limestone flour in a bowl and sprinkling nutrabol on food for 7 days. I have to admit to being worried that they wouldn't eat the limestone flour and they would not be getting enough this was the reason i sprinkled it on the food to ensure they got some.

I have been amazed at the reaction of all 3 of mine to this, they are eating the limestone flour from the dish like there is no tomorrow i wish i had a camera earlier as all 3 were eating and when they came out they all head white heads lol.

Anyway for everyone out there like me who was worried they wouldn't eat limestone flour from a bowl, they do and they love it.

Thanks for reading Smile

They remind me of the black and white minstrels - OK showing my age now. They do look funny though with little white 'lips'.
My tort also does this, although just once in a while, but I always have it in for him if he wants it, and my new babies who have yet to try theres. They are so cute, and you never have the camera ready when you need it....

Phew that's OK then. We used to have to suffer them every Sunday at tea time. Tea had to be eaten before they came on
Mine won't touch the stuff Sad Yanni only ever eats cuttlefish when she is gravid, and cuttlefish isn't particularly beneficial calcium wise anyway Sad
Mine enjoy eating Limestone flour from a bowl.

Make sure you keep offering it Hayles as when they have had incorrect diet for so many years, they need all the calcium they can get and the sun to convert it too of course Wink
It took a while to get there Sue, but only the best now for my Boys.
