I was once stopped by a motorist who told me it was illegal to pick daffodils - I told her they were dandelions and it was fine to pick them as they were considered weeds. She asked why anyone would want to pick dandelions and I told her for my cauldron, as I used the contents to cast spells - never saw her again, strange woman.
another couple of weeks and i think the dandes will be about with vengance.... hopefully
I had the police watch me once. They even got out of the car to ask me what i was doing. Must of been a right sight with my big bum stuck in the air looking for weeds. It's even worse if you have the dog with you. A poo bag in 1 hand and a bag of weeds in the other. I must of looked mad.

LOL I pick weeds while walking the dogs too. I always think the neighbours must think, that's a big bag of poo for two dogs

LoL. The things we do for our torts. I must admit i have had some very strange looks. I like taking the dog that way you don't looks so mad.
mmmmmmmm the only time the police have watched me picking flowers was once when I was s tudent and drunkenly thought it was ok to steal daffs off a roundabout! Bad bad student type behaviour but the daffs did look lovely on the windowsill for the next week or so!
Hi Clare. Before i got back into tort keeping i used to look at flowers all the time. Now the only thing at look at is weeds.
