nothing growing on the lanes at all except this

I've no idea! A google search says wild fern, too. If it infact *is* a wild fern, it's non-edible.

It looks to me like hedge parsley or cow parsley. If so it is not toxic but given that it is very similar to hemlock, which would definitley kill, I avoid it like the plague. At this time of year there is loads of it about in its young form in the hedgerows.

i thought it was hedge parsley at first too and i even considered senna but the conclusion i came to: fern Smile
