Yes they are beddies, but not KC reg, I wont get started on that!! They are from working lines, very typical of the 'traditional' Bedlington terrier before registration came about, and ridiculous breed standards that relate in no way to what the breed was. They really shouldn't look like candy floss on sticks!!
Lady, the lurcher not 100% on breeding. She's actually quite small I know dad was whippet/ grey, mum supposed to be whippet / beddie but she was very tall so I think there are other breeds in the mix. She was the only smooth coated in the litter, the rest broken but still black.
They had her cruciate operating on beginning of september, the photos from a couple of months back when she was starting out off lead. Its been a really long recovery but worth it.

They are a pain to take pics of, if you try and get a head on pic they're eating the camera by the time your in focus! They are around 11 inches now so not huge.

Lol, they remind me a little bit of huge beetles! They really are very friendly, socialable torts.

I agree totally with your dog sense - have you seen show greyhounds? Nothing at all like the original ones with no breed problems. The only probs tend to be teeth (due to the slops they feed racers on) and cruciate ligaments - both inflicted by man grrrr.

Hi Jo. 11 inches is huge to me. It is when my biggest horsfield is only seven and a half inches. I have 3 margies but they are really small yet.
