are £3.99 each at Lidl i bought two on thursday and they are a decent size, i have just repotted them. Now i just need to find a Mulberry tree i have done four garden centres today and they have every kind of berry tree going apart from the one i want. Sad
I think lidl spray their plants, so always try to leave them to be watered for a few weeks in the rain before feeding.

I took them out of their pots to find they were ridden with snail eggs so cleaned of all the soil they came with and washed the roots and used my own soil, I will leave them to wash out for a few months as i intended to bring them in over the winter as i am gonna be using them whan the weeds become scarce due to the winter conditions.
Hibiscus are beautiful to look at . And my torts love them too. Could do with a couple more, thanks. Big Grin

I am am rubbish gardener so forgive my ignorance here but when you repot a plant what soil do you use that is safe for tortoises but nutritional enough for the plant to thrive?

Ben
Hi Ben. I just use top soil. You will find nine times out of ten it doesn't last that long.Big Grin
I can vouch for that Smile A couple of weeks ago i planted a nasturtium I put some logs around it to protect it from being eaten until it had established a bit. I came home a couple of hours later to find the logs pushed over and a very smug looking tortoise sat where the nasturium used to be Smile Smile
If they can reach it they will lolBig Grin
