hi all my name is clare i have recently recived a new pet and dont know to much about tortoises so maybe crazing you all soon, all i can remember when a child was that our tortoise escaped from the garden and we never saw him again, pic to follow soon.

Welcome to tortoise-world. A lot of people have similar stories from their childhood unfortunately there wasn't much education in those days so tortoises where not cared for as well as they are now.

thanks all just done a weight check today and he is 215 g he is 3 years old and lenthis 4 inches does this seem about right to you, thanks clare.
