Full Version: vet needed in bristol

i think my little guy may have worms because he is not interested in getting up i think the temps are right so this seems the only other thing it can be. hes 2 and never been wormed (how often dose it need to be done?) but worried about taking him to a vet that will do moe harm than good any suggestions will be apreciated

I worm my torts once every year. I do this using panacur, from a pre-loaded syringe. It is advisable to watch someone experienced do it first, as you can cause damage opening your torts mouth if done wrong.
I would also look at his diet... what do you feed him?
i try to find a variety but hard this time of year iv mainly been giving him clover and dandelion leaves but i always keep my eye out for other tort friendly foods hes still not interested in coming out iv woken him up most days getting more and more concerned
