Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I've had to part with three of my THH tortoises, they were born in 2009 and are looking like 2 females and 1 male.
Good homes only.

Hi,
How big will these grow being Dwarf? You may want to put a location, so people know where they need to be collected from. Plus whether you want them to go all together or split. Do you have papers for all 3? Where did they come from a shop or a breeder?

There is actually no such species as a dwarf hermanni. These are Testudo hermanni hermanni and are just smaller than Testudo hermanni boettgeri and Testudo hercegovinensis

If a breeding group, they should sell well, but more pics would be good as there is someone selling these in Scotland who is not exactly what they seem so a good background would be useful. This one looks lovely - do you have pics of the others and plastron shots too?
Hi, sorry I never put in a location its midlands, ideally would like them to go together however I understand some people would only be interested in the one/two female so can split. They were bred in europe and come with the cites certificates.
I can send some plastron shots however these DONT breed as they are only 2009 and not adults.
Thanks for the explanation Sue. Thought Tortoises are small enough without being dwarfs, lol.
Wouldn't it be safer, 2 females going together & the male on its own? Thinking although only babies at the moment they will grow up. So the male would/could annoy the females, by trying to mate them. So they would need to be kept apart.
Hope you find them a home. Am looking for a male friend for my Mums tortoise, but Midlands is some way to travel.

Also Hays, tortoise sub species should not be mixing so thb, thherc and thhermanni should be kept apart.

A lot of european imports come via Germany and Slovenia and the info on the certs points to dealers rather than breeders unfortunately. It's a nice looking tortoise though and I was just wondering what the other two looked like. I meantioned plastron shots as was wondering what made you think they were sexable at two years old

You wouldn't be able to put a hermanni hermanni with the other sub species of hermanns though Hayles
Hayles you should see Sue's Herbie. She is the one in Sue's picture by her name. On the picture she looks small but she's huge for a herman. You really do need two hands to pick her up. She as got the cutest face i have ever seen on a tortoise.

She is so pretty. Sue as got a few big hermans. Hermanni Hermanni are rare in this country but they are now being bred in this country. I think in a few years time they will be easy to buy. Zelda can you also say how much you want for them so people will no.
My Mum would like a friend for her tortoise, but at the right time & got from the right place

no plans at present just looking.
Just intrigued me to think there was such a thing. To go to Sue's house & meet her Tortoises would for me, be like a child walking into a toy shop & seeing there favourite toy on the shelf. LOL. Sad but true, I think there truly amazing animals & could watch them all day with there personalities.
Hope you find them good homes Zelda

well I paid £200 each for them, however I would be willing to negotiate.
