hi yours is almost certainly north african graeca graeca,and looks like algerian im not well tavelled like some people so can only compare to what i have seen on the net and my own animals.this is a couple of pic,s of my own graeca graeca to compare.

Would you be able to give me a rough idea on age?

How long are yours normally in hibernation? According to my mum who lived next door to her previous owner, she was put into hibernation on 6th November. It seems to be a long time, or do they need longer when they are OAP's?

hi it is difficult to even guess the age once they are adults ,i recently posted a picture on another forum asking what age a certain graeca graeca was and every one thought she was a grand old age ,to be fair i would have been fooled myself except i had hatched her 13 years previously so knew to the day how old she was.my point is it is very difficult to tell from a picture.imsure when healthy she will have no trouble hibernating for 4 month's my own certainly do.
