Hi I am no expert,
and I am not a keeper of Horsifields, but they are known for there digging, they can dig quite deep, so if you have them in an outdoor enclosure please make sure they cant tunnel out!!!
they are real little characters. How old are they, perhaps you could post of picture of them we would love to see them!!

Russians/horsfields are burrowers by nature. If they have a deep enough enclosure (at least 1 foot deep) and the correct substrate they can burrow down and make their own tunnel.
