Sorry folks just started a poll on what hibernation method you all use, box or fridge?

No sure if I have done this right or not so please be kind!!!!:rotfl:
I think I should have 3 options where people may you both methods!!!
I use the fridge method, used the box method one year and it was fine, but that was in an insulated wooden shed. I knew I was going to get a new tortoise shed the year after so I left a thermometer in our Brick shed over winter and it wasn't cold enough again so I invested in a fridge the following winter.
I knew the 2nd wooden shed would be too warm as it is in the sun all day, where as the original one that I used for hibernation was in the coldest area of the garden.
i use the "box in the shed" method, there's a thermostat in there and i've got a min/max thermometer with alarm set so i know right away if it gets too warm or too cold, i've never used the fridge method but who knows maybe i'll try one year

I use the fridge method!! I find it works really well

I'm also a fridge user, don't have any other method available.
< does not have to hibernate

i will use the box.knowing my luck i would freeze alfie by mistake.
i cant put even cucumber in my fridge without freezing it lol.please dont trust me with a tortoise.poor alfie..
