Oh I would wholeheartedly recommend the Tlady mix too Josh. When you think of all the work that went into producing this mix (with no monetary compense to Lin), including a lot of reasearch in the torts natural habitat, it's frustrating to see people selling different mixes and even recommending things for juvenile, gravid females etc with absolutely no experience of the tortoises physiology at all. If you have a basic knowledge of tortoises feeding requirements that is fine, but I have seen people feeding their own specifically grown goose grass and another none recommended one which name escapes me at the moment(with no other main diet), on the advice of a so called expert. The results can be seen in the appearance of the poor torts unfortunately.
