OMG i just read they can eat bind weed????


please tell me this is true and its good for them as i soooo cannot get rid of this from my front garden its overtaking the place!!
i've also read that you should be careful with it but i wouldn't worry now you know you can stop feeding it. I can't remember the reason behind not feeding it tho :rolleye: i don't think it's because it's not safe, more like there's something in it that stops absorbtion of other nutrients?

Yes!!! you can feed leaves and flowers to your torts. Mine dont likeSadSad
i thought it was ok to feed them with it.please try and find out for sure sue.
ok get ready this is what i found out:
it contains nitrates and oxalic acid, also causes hallucinations.
went on pfaf and this is what they have to say about hedge bindweed:
diuretic and purgative so i hovered the mouse over their definition of purgative and this iswhat it said:
purgative= a drastic laxative causing a cleansing or watery evacuation of the bowels, usually with a griping pain
god glad i havent fed it to them now.step son got me some for torts.i have thrown it in the bin.

am i going to shit myself too?? that will be fab, i gained weight eating doughnuts on holiday haha cheap diet pills!!

(is out in the garden eating the weed :X)
