what do you pay to have your torty wormed?

I would use Ambivet when I do (wish I could do it myself...maybe later)
i use panacur puppy but just to contradict myself, why worm anyway :innocentwhistle:
if it ain't broke, don't fix it Big Grin
i had a tortoise with a worm-load earlier this year, that's why she was wormed
not sure about anyone else but i don't do it as routine
i will however give my torts cooked pumpkin around the end of the summer and after hibernation as there are natural worming properties in it Smile
thanks x I just thought as soon as you got a tort 2 have them wormed.

will bear the pumpkin in mind...also I read on here about worming using a strawberry
to hide the taste sounds fun lol
so you check their poo then for the worms?
mine are in the garden most of the time, it was easy to see the worms yuk!!! you could check for eggs when you bathe yours, that's when they are most likely to do poo's :rolleye:
will do .....I havent even got any yet and Im checking their poo lol
Sue I give mine raw grated pumpkin should it be cooked or does it not matter
well as we women know :innocentwhistle: all veg lose lots of their vitamins and stuff during cooking so i suppose it would be more beneficial raw and grated Smile
mine are just so fussy they won't eat raw but maybe that's because pumpkin is hard?
i'm gonna try grating next time theyhave it Smile will let you know how they get on Smile
I use butternut squash as thats also good as a natural wormer, i give them a chunk raw Smile
i have puppy wormer in the cupboard. can u use any puppy stuff? and do u go by weight as per a puppy?
butternut quash sounds good as a natural wormer
