Hi everyone,
My tort is around 14 months old and I have had him (could be a girl, as well not sure yet) for about 5 months. As he's only very small I've chosen not to hibernate him this winter, I don't think it would do him any good. He's nice and warm and eating well, and I take him to a specialist vets every few months for a check up and a weigh in and he's doing fine. Has anyone got any tips on how to keep him happy during winter or any specific diet patterns that I should be following during this time?

Thanks
what species is he? (see species i'm learning lol)

and how big weight etc?

Well I've weighed him myself and he was around 3oz, and the vets said that he's a healthy weight for his age and size. He's only around 5cm in length (plastron). I feed him on weeds mainly, pansies, plantain and the odd dandelion, very occasionaly he has watercress as a treat. (all with nutrobal sprinkled on them).

I have ordered a winter tortoise seed mix from ebay and also some limestone flour, as I have read on here about having two nutrobal days and the rest limestone flour.

Thanks,
p.s. he's a hermann's
