Today i found Izzy sprawled out in her enclosure. she normaly moves when i come in but nothing happpened. i picked her up and she was non-responsive. Sad
her death was sudded up untill this morning she was walking strong with clear eyes and nostrils
so r.i.p IzzySadSadSadSadSadSadSadSadSad
That's so sad. I know it will not help or bring her back but was she indoors? What were temps, air conditions, age etc?
Oh Darren i am so sorry. She was such a lovely tortoise.

I know this is early days, but I would contact the breeder and tell them about poor Izzy.

Sad Dave, I'm sorry to hear that. Was she a fairly young tortoise?

yes she was indoors
it was 20 in the cool end and 35 in the hot end and it dropped to 19 all round at night
she was just a few months over 1

only had her for 2 and a half weeks and she was healthy up to the last moment i havnt a clue what happened

by the way does anyone if you have to inform anyone of her death seen as shee falls under cites
