Hey hey all! Long time no speak.
As the title - this is the first time for hibernation for both, me and them.
I've already started to drop/ cut their feeding (which I hate!). They just look at me, waiting for the food.
I'm probably going to put them in a box, in the conservatory as in the winter, it never gets warmer then 7 degrees celcius; dropping to anything -5. That or the fridge (5 degrees cel)
What does everyone reckon?

I reckon the conservatory would be a disaster. Sunny days would bring them out of hibernation within hours, this is where I put mine to wake up at the end of hibernation. You would be surprised how a sunny day can alter the ambient temps. Try putting a max/min thermometer in there for a week now to check the variance. It's the same with sheds and lofts - too much variance. You need a building with thick walls and no windows for success really. Fridge would be best for you, but run it for a month or so first to check the temps as they can not be guaranteed to be stable.
Hope this helps.
Just been checking around the house and shed for possible areas. Fridge seems like the best choice.
I also had a quick read over a small section of your hibernation info on your website.
My fridge pretty much fits the bill. Could someone explain it in more detail
yes, the fridge is said to be the safest place.
I'm just glad I don't have to hibernate my tortoise! I would get so panicky

What tortoise do you have Georgiaaa?.
