Hi sue many thanks for info so is it ok to turn heating and lighting off at night I keep two in a vivarium both about 6 months old . Sorry to bother u again thanks mark.

No problem Mark - have a look at the site I sent you to, to give you ideas. A vivarium is not a good idea for keeping horsfields as they are a burrowing species which need to dig. In shallow substrate they get stressed with constant efforts to dig in corners etc. Once stressed they are more likely to become ill. Even worse for horsfields is a viv that is heated all the time which makes it impossible for them to get away from the heat to cool down. What lights and heat are you offering them? Maybe we can suggest an alternative for you

Hi Mark if you can get them out of the Viv, that would be good. A cheap way of doing a tort table is an old bookcase look on free cycle.
