Ive had a quick look on this subject and im thinking its normal from what ive jus read but i thought i would put a pic up anyways.

This morning i went to say merry christmas to phyllis and i noticed the skin on the back of her neck was peeling, is this normal?

her neck looks wet because shes just come out her water bowl and have it a little rub with a wet cotton bud which she didnt seem to mind so i dont think its hurting her as she didnt try to hide her head.
heres a pic

Hi Mick. Yes it is normal they do shed(peel) their skin. Some more than others. Just don't pull at it. Let it come off on it's own.
Hi Mick as Paulette said normal, please dont be tempted to help in anyway or put cream on it.!!!
If that's the case then ill just leave her too it and keep up with the baths. It's put my mind at rest, as she was a early Christmas present from my girlfriend it was a bit if a shock when I saw that this morning.

After a growth spurt in the spring my russians look like little frilled dragons running around (yes they do run when spring arrives lol). Russians seem to shed far more than other species.
