well couldnt get him in the vets.hannah bould is off on personal leave.they dont know when she will be back.so looked around and come up with another vets.she as dealt with tortoises before so i hope shes ok.keeping up the baths.hes still not eaten anything yet.not sure if its because he is scared or hes not used to fresh weeds etc.hes lived on cabbage and grapes for 4 years so its going to be a challenge.so hes going on wednesday.keep you posted.

RE: MY NEW RESCUE TORT.
lots of tortoises, when moved to new surroundings and given new diets will often be quiet and not eat. i have a feeling you have quite a job on your hands with this one given the previous diet Sad
try finely chopping a couple of grapes and mixing them with weeds hopefully the smell will tempt him to the foodslate :rolleye: and he'll try some weeds then gradually reduce the grapes as time goes on, with perseverance he will look for the goodies you provide Smile
i personally feel that gradually changing his diet would be better than immediately replacing what he's been used to for the last 4 years
